About The Investigator
The Investigator has, for the past 15 years, been providing training, workshops and conferences aimed at supporting the continuous professional development of investigators, analysts and police staff of all ranks and roles.
To date we have staged more than 500 events both online and in-person that have provided contemporary issues and best practice in digital investigation, investigative interviewing, crime and intelligence analysis, major crime, serious and organised crime, open source intelligence, dark web, cryptocurrency, covert policing, CSE, MOSOVO, Human trafficking and modern slavery and cyber-crime.
Our ethos
The world of criminal investigation is ever evolving and presents constant challenges for the investigator at a time when resources are finite.
Our ethos it to be the ‘constant friend’ of frontline investigators, analysts and police staff and support their efforts by providing ongoing continuous professional development.
We are proud to be supported by most UK law enforcement organisations as well as wider public and private sector and international delegates.
The speakers and trainers who work with us to deliver our events are at the top of their game and are recognised as subject matter experts in their respective fields.
We regularly receive positive feedback from delegates who have attended our events and we pride ourselves on staging professional events that support the learning of all delegates, whatever their ability. We are an inclusive organisation and respect and support all our delegates, regardless of gender, race or politics.
Supporting the frontline
We are a small independent company that constantly strives to provide value for money to reflect the fact that budgets in the public sector are finite.
We believe passionately in supporting law enforcement on the frontline and we genuinely love what we do. No two days are ever the same but what doesn’t change is our commitment to continuing to support investigators, analysts and police staff to meet the current and future investigation challenges.
Central to our approach is to work in partnership with law enforcement organisations, academic institutions, and industry to provide dynamic forums for networking and debate.
